Believing that Poets undervalue themselves in the creative marketplace, The Madame, and right-hand man Tennessee Pink, set up the Poetry Brothel in order to confirm in writers the literal monetary value of their work, and also to present Poetry in its more natural form – intimate and sensual over the more standard formal and jilted reading. The collective is made up of ‘Poetry Whores’ who ply their trade at specially arranged events, dressed in turn of the century dress, in character.

Women, did our orgasm 2-parter get you thinking about how your own climax feels? Sex educator Midori wants women’s words on their orgasms for an upcoming book project. She’s collecting women’s first-person accounts of the detailed physical experience of orgasms. Consider:
When does it start? What parts of your muscles and body parts? What’s the hint of it? Where does it start? How does it move through your body? What sort of sensations? Imagine trying to illustrate your orgasm to a person who’s never had it.
More information on the project at Midori’s blog.
