General Info

Logging in

Sonicerotica requires that your browser accepts cookies. If you are asked to log in repeatedly, you need to adjust your browser to accept cookies from us. You can check to see if you're accepting cookies, and check for a few other common problems, by following this link and reading the text which comes up in the red box:

Check that you are logging in using your username and password, not your subscription ID, which is for billing purposes only.

If you get an error message when logging in, the message will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong. Check your Caps Lock. The most common problem is using the incorrect case when entering the username or password. For example you may be typing smith123 when the correct login is Smith123.

If you have lost your password, you want to cancel rebills, you need to update your credit card info, or other account related tasks, the link is back up at the top of the page.

If you have checked that your account is current, you are using the correct password and username, you have used the Troubleshooter link above and you still need assistance, use the help form here and paste in the text from the Troubleshooter output (the red box).

Sonicerotica.com is the first erotic web site designed specifically for the sight-impaired (Visually Impaired Persons). The design has been optimised for VIP users and conforms as much as possible to the WC3.org and WAIC standards for accessibility. Some content is available only in text format, so if you are a VIP you may require Accesibility software such as a screen reader program – we recommend JAWS for Windows by Freedom Scientific.

File formats

Downloaded text files are in the TXT format.

Audio content is in MP3 format.

  • Browser: If you're using a screen reader, chances are you're using JAWS on Windows. SonicErotica has been designed for Internet Explorer, but will run just fine on more standards-compliant browsers such as Firefox. We'll be relying on you to let us know if anything needs tweaking.
  • Media Software: A media player to access the MP3 files. Everyone chooses something different, but we recommend Windows Media Player, Nullsoft Winamp or iTunes. Set your browser up to play MP3 files automatically after download through your media player.
  • Broadband Internet connection (DSL/Cable/LAN)
