How To Listen

“In this soaring demonstration, deaf percussionist Evelyn Glennie illustrates how listening to music involves much more than simply letting sound waves hit your eardrums.”

Wow! TED is always so interesting, the point Evelyn Glennie makes about us hearing music with our entire bodies really resonates with me. I think I have this same approach to orgasm and arousal in that it is really an experience for the whole body as well as the mind, not just limited to the obvious organs. Well worth listening to again I think, at least for the piece of music she plays at the end. Bravo to deaf musicians!
